Given the several months of my recovery I’ve been using Looney Tunes as a form of therapy.  If you’re not familiar with it it’s about 2 hours each day of Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Daffy Duck, etc. cartoons.  A lot of repetition but also some nice variances if you pay attention.

What I’ve discovered is that if you want to teach someone physics, these cartoons are an excellent way to do it.  Some of the things that go on are totally in tune with the laws of physics, while others totally violate one of more of the laws.  One could literally sit down with kids (or adults who don’t understand physics, and I’m convinced it’s a lot based on some of the insane acts we hear about) and analyze slices of these cartoons based on physics and discuss which aspects are possible and which are not.

Ok, maybe I have too much time on my hands/mind?
