Went shopping today for a new mattress set. Old one was from Sears, and was happy with it, so went back there. Spent 15+ minutes jumping around on their display units, and no sales persons ever appeared. Sort of got the feeling they are trying to reduce costs by reducing sales personnel. That actually reduces sales!
So went to a SleepZone. Bought one that will be delivered in 2 days! That’s good service. (When my wife stopped at Sears the other day they said it would be at least 2 weeks, since they don’t stock anything)
Somewhere in the Sears organization many management personnel are asleep at the wheel!
