So what does this have to do with quality? Well I could have simply watched some Roy Orbison videos on YouTube, but wanted to see the holotechnology in action. It was pretty decent.
And it didn’t seem like a ghost, although I’m sure they could modify it (e.g., less density allowing you to see thru it?)? It was a bit wierd (movie like) when they just turned it off one time and he just disappeared (as opposed to decending back into the stage floor).
But the CGI image was very lifelike, especially considering that Roy didn’t move much during his performances. A couple of other performers are in the works.
